Allen and Mary attended the Chicago Yacht Club’s Verve Cup Regatta this past weekend and worked the crowds of competitors and spectators, spreading the word about Sails For Sustenance. Allen has led the SFS efforts in Chicago since 2011 and delivered over 100 sails to Haiti in that time! Many of the Chicago sails originated from large yachts and in some cases the fishermen in Haiti have made sails for two fishing boats from one donated sail! See our Where to Donate Sails page to learn how to reach Allen and his team in Chicago if you would like to donate or assist his efforts.
Promote Sails for Sustenance in your fleet or at your yacht club. Collect sails or hold a fundraiser to support a Haitian fishing village. Click here to learn more.
Contributions, both in-kind and monetary, are tax-deductible. We make our 501(c)(3) documentation available for your convenience.
